Nominee: Colleen Vechetti

Why do you feel this person deserves to be honored? : Colleen has lived in Los Osos most of her life. She went to MBHS and Cuesta College. I believe, she went to Cal Poly as well and then moved away to get her doctorate in San Jose. She is now a physical therapist in Morro Bay. Colleen stepped up and took on the task of managing the Octoberfest for Los Osos. It’s my understanding she has done this a couple of years now. Colleen is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Rotary. Last night I know she was working and planning at the Lighting of the Christmas Tree down in Baywood and then headed over to Morro Bay to help with the Lighter Boat Parade. I know Colleen has helped in many different events and organizations. She volunteers whenever needed. She does this while also running a business and a home, being a wife to Ryan, and a mom to her beautiful girls Cora and Ella. In my opinion she does it all but most importantly she does it all and does it with a smile. She is such a good person. One of the kindest people I know and deserves to be recognized for all the amazing things she is and does. Thank you.
